MIDWAY ist ebenfalls eine Rockband der eher unspektakulären und zu oft
schon dagewesenen Art. Das Info nennt die Musik College Rock und vergleicht
sie mit R.E.M. (den Vergleich lasse ich unbedingt gelten) und Matthew Sweet
oder Dave Matthews. Die kenne ich gar nicht, aber vielleicht sagt Euch das
ja was. Trotzdem muß man zur Verteidigung der Band unbedingt sagen, daß es
sich keineswegs um üblen Kifferrock handelt, sondern eher um diesen
typischen amerikanischen Rock, eben, ja, halt eben im Stile von R.E.M., es
ist halt so.

Midway is a rock band as well, but their music is not really unique.  The
press pack calls the music "college rock" and compares it with R.E.M. (this
is not really my opinion), Matthew Sweet, or Dave Matthews.  I do not know
the later two bands at all, but perhaps you do.  Nevertheless, I must say
in their defense that this disc is not by any means "smoke pot" rock, but
rather typical American rock in the style of R.E.M.
