Bland Band on the Midway

Ok, here's the deal. Midway is a competent little band out of Blacksburg,
VA. Competent yes, but their release Poole Hall Sessions, on their own
label Midway Music, has no spark, no oomph, no life.

There music is just as flat as this rubber chicken.

Don't get me wrong, these guys, Andrew Wolatman, Ben Liptak, Terry Willis,
and John Haramis, are good musicians, and maybe live these tunes could rock.
But on this disk, which their PR firm laughingly calls Rock/Alternative Pop,
they sound flat. At best Poole hall sessions could be considered Pop, but
even in that category there's just not much going for it.

One thing in it's favor though is the price, the disc is only $7.00
