Midway (2 Stars)
Pool Hall Sessions CDEP - Midway Music
Power pop with a bit of an alternative country feel.  Midway, out of
Virginia, have a very pleasant and distinct melody and rythm.  Pool Hall
Sessions is five songs of cheerful, radio-friendly "mature" pop music
echoing heavy of Toad the Wet Sprocket.  I might listen to this if it came
unexpectedly on the radio, but I wouldn't go out and pay money for this, if
that gives you any bearing to my feelings for Midway.  Good for a listen,
but that's about it. (AB)
